40 Days For Life

Alfie's Answer

I'm Feeling Good About Your Feeling Bad

A Country Love Song

Fill Me With My Regular (and point me home to Ethyl)

I Remember

Jesus Our True Friend

The 2nd Lord's Prayer

Ya Gotta Thank and Praise Someone

My Sweet Lord

This is a Kenny Chesney tune of which I altered the lyrics somewhat and 'Christianized' them. The intent is to encourage the reader as he/she recall their sinful remembrances, and find peace in the greatest remembrance-Jesus and the cross.

I Remember Sittin here alone- Thoughts of bein' your child.Longin' for your peace-Dreamin' of your smile.Never want to try to erase- For no one could ever take Your place. Well I remember how it used to feel- back when our love was strong and real. And I remember tears in my eyes- As I went my way and said goodbye. All I want right now is to forget-Every single thing that I regret. And drown out these embers.. ......but I remember. It's yesterday again-Here inside my mind. And I can't find a way- to leave your love behind .....(whisper...thank you, Lord)I wanna wake up to the day-My selfish heart won't stand in my way.Well I remember how it used to feel- back when our love was strong and real. And I remember tears in my eyes-As I went my way and said goodbye. All I want right now is to forget-Every single thing that I regret. And drown out these embers........but I remember. Well I wanna wake up to the day-My selfish heart won't stand in my way.I'm glad I remember how it used to feel-'Cause Your love's still so strong and real.
And You remembered the tears in my eyes-You welcomed me, not said goodbye. All I want right now's to remember, Remember, remember, O Lord remember,
Your love for me.And drown out those bad embers.....And rememberYour love for me..ohhhhhh It's now and real, Oh Lord...and thank God I remember.
